FOIA Requests Outside the Portal
Requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) must be submitted in writing. In addition to using this portal, requests can be submitted via email, U.S. mail and fax. For more information about these alternative request methods, see the FOIA Request Process page on the Michigan Department of Civil Rights website. It is highly recommended that FOIA requests be submitted using this portal to avoid delay in processing.
